PERFORMANCE
Erasure
Independent scientific testing confirms this degausser erases longitudinal and perpendicular disk storage devices with a Coercivity of 5000 Oersteds and tape media with a Coercivity of 2800 Oersteds.

Media Size
Chamber accommodates tapes and hard drives up to 1 inch (26 mm) high by 4 inches (102 mm) wide by 6 inches (152 mm) deep including floppy disks, zip disks, DLT, LTO, 8mm, DDS, VHS and other hard disk drives without disassembly. The HD-1T can accomodate multiple laptop hard drives and multiple tapes per cycle.

CONTROLS AND INDICATORS
Illuminated POWER switch, numerical STRENGTH display, NORMAL, FAULT, OPEN and CLOSE indicators. Internal sensor provides a numerical display of the magnetic field strenght to indicate the unit is operating at its peak, each and every cycle. At any time, the cycle can be haulted by opening the door.

The chamber of the HD-5T degausser accommodates multiple pieces of magnetic media at the same time, up to 1 inch (26 mm) by 4 inches (102 mm) by 6 inches (152 mm) in size. Combining multiple tapes and hard drives reduces the amount of time and labor associated with degaussing media.
